We’re so inspired by our Ambassadors and Hostess who choose to use the Event as a way to make a broader impact in your local communities or for a cause near and dear to your heart and we’re are thrilled you would like to organize a charitable sales event with your Host or team benefitting a local or regional non-profit organization. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure the best possible impact for both your business and non-profit organizations.
First things first!
Please review and ensure your event is in compliance with the Stella & Dot Family of Brands Policies & Procedures Charitable Commitments Responsibilities, below:
Independent Business Owners must at all times conduct her/his Stella & Dot Family Brands business in a manner that reflects favorably on Stella & Dot Family of Brands and the good name, goodwill and reputation of Stella & Dot Family of Brands and our products. If you agree to obligations or commit to promises with customers, Hostes, or members of the public and fail to fulfill your personal obligations, such failure may result in tarnishment of Stella & Dot Family of Brands’ reputation and goodwill and/or subject Stella & Dot Family Brands to potential liability. Any failure to fulfill commitments made to third-parties in connection with your Stella & Dot Family Brands business will constitute a breach of your Business Owner Agreement, and will result in immediate termination of your agreement with us.
If you are the Host or styling a Event in which you plan to donate all or some of your commissions:
- Confirm the details of the event with your Host, which should include the percentage of your commissions that you plan to donate, any exclusions or limitations, and let her know when you plan to make your donation to the non-profit organization. After the sales period has closed, share the total amount donated with your Host and her guests so they can feel great about their impact!
- Always clearly state that you are an Independent Business Owner with Stella & Dot/KEEP Collective to avoid any confusion that you are an employee of the Home Office.
- We recommend that all promotional materials and communications clearly state how much you are donating from your commissions to the specific non-profit organization. Please also include any exclusions.
For example: I can’t wait for you to stop by to Shop for a Cause benefitting [Name of Charity]. I am donating [X]% of my commissions on all sales from the Event (excluding commissions earned on Event and Host Exclusive products).
